Sarah Steben is a Montreal-based dancer and instructor who began her career at the age of 15 years old.
Her passion for dance developed throughout her time dancing at a local studio. During her time there she became a member of the two-time world Hip Hop champion crew Extreme which allowed her the opportunity to travel to various cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, New York City, Toronto, Quebec City and Bremen, Germany, to showcase and compete.
Following her experience with Extreme, Sarah became a part of the all female crew Aftermath, directed by Erik Saradpon (Formality, MSA). Her training with this collective inspired her and gave her the drive to pursue dance professionally. This was a pivotal moment in her career as she also became passionate about teaching and choreography.
Since then, Sarah has had the opportunity to work choreographically with Canadian artists such as award winning singer/songwriter Stephen Voyce, Brittany Kennell and Jaden Chase. She has made several TV appearances on networks such as CTV, Global Television, Musique Plus and TVA. Her most recent accomplishments include the Quebec production of Saturday Night Fever as a featured dancer performing in over 130 shows, cast member in the Monsters of Hip Hop show in 2013 and company member in Rhapsody James's hybrid dance company R.ED (Rhapsody En Dance). She has also danced in music videos for DJ Tiesto, The Kills, Point Point and more.
Now based in Los Angeles, she is excited to continue pursuing her craft and sharing her love for dance with the EXPG LA family.
